If you want to explore the countryside and
intend to travel a lot, you would need a vehicle. Similarly if you intend to travel around
the Maldives you would need a boat or as it is known locally a safari boat.
Safari boats are live aboard vessels where all your needs are catered. All live aboard
vessels must comply with quite high regulatory standards. Most new generation live aboard
vessels are equipped with cabins with attached toilets, air-conditioning in cabins and
lounge area, restaurant & bar facilities, sun deck, sound proof generators, video
facilities, and diving equipment such as compressors, oxygen cylinders etc. However please
make sure you inform us of any specific requirement in order to ensure that your holiday
goes as planned.
Safari vessel sizes vary from single or two cabin vessels to large forty cabin vessels.
Our general advice is for you to choose a vessel according to the size of your group.
Safari Boats are ideal if you want to get a feel of the real Maldives, how a typical
island community functions or if you just want to relax drop your anchor nearby an
uninhabited island and watch the sun go down in total seclusion with only the sound of the
sea or you are here for some serious diving and do not intend to be bound to one location. |
