Planning a Maldives holiday with meals and selected drinks included can make it easier to manage your stay budget. All-inclusive packages in the Maldives vary by resort: some cover meals and drinks, while others also include transfers, water sports or selected excursions.
Last Minute Maldives can help you compare current all-inclusive Maldives deals and packages for your travel dates. We can also help you compare resort stays with local-island holidays that bundle accommodation, meals and activities.
What is included in a Maldives all-inclusive package?
The exact inclusions depend on the resort and the offer. A package may include:
- Accommodation in a beach villa, water villa or another room category
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner at selected restaurants
- A selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Minibar items, snacks or afternoon tea
- Snorkelling equipment or selected non-motorised water sports
- Return speedboat, seaplane or domestic flight and boat transfers, when stated in the offer
Check the offer terms before booking. Some restaurants, premium drinks, excursions, spa treatments and other activities may cost extra. Airport transfers may also be charged separately, even when the accommodation is sold with an all-inclusive meal plan.
Choosing an all-inclusive Maldives holiday
An all-inclusive stay may suit you if you expect to dine and spend most of your time at the resort, and you prefer to know more of your meal and drink costs in advance. If you plan to spend little time at the resort or do not expect to use the drinks included, compare the price with a full-board or half-board package.
When comparing Maldives all-inclusive holidays, look at the full trip cost rather than the room price alone. Check:
- The villa category and number of nights
- Which meals, restaurants and drinks are included
- Whether return airport transfers are included
- Whether taxes and service charges are included in the quoted total
- Any minimum-stay, booking deadline or travel-period conditions
- The price for your full travel party, including children
Maldives resort holidays and local-island packages
Private-island resorts offer their own meal plans and facilities. Local islands such as Maafushi, Thulusdhoo and Dhigurah offer a different kind of holiday, with guesthouses, local cafés and excursions. A local-island package may bundle meals and activities, but check its inclusions separately from a resort’s all-inclusive plan.
If you are deciding between a resort and a local island, consider how you want to spend your days, where you expect to eat and which excursions you would like to take. We can help you compare suitable options for your budget and travel style.

Frequently asked questions
Do Maldives all-inclusive packages include airport transfers?
Some offers include return transfers; others charge separately or provide a discount subject to conditions. Confirm the transfer type and cost in your quote before booking.
Are international flights included in Maldives all-inclusive holidays?
Not necessarily. A resort package may cover accommodation, meals and selected services without including international flights. Ask whether your quote includes flights from your departure airport.
Does “all-inclusive” mean every restaurant and activity is free?
No. The term describes a resort’s specific meal plan. Restaurants, drinks and activities can have limits or exclusions, so check the current offer terms.
Can I book an all-inclusive holiday on a local island?
Local-island guesthouses may offer packages with meals and excursions, but these are different from a resort all-inclusive plan. Compare the accommodation, included meals, activities and transfers listed in each package.
How do I compare Maldives all-inclusive packages?
Compare the total price for your travel dates and party size, including the villa, meal-plan details, return transfers, taxes and any required supplements. This helps you compare offers on the same basis.
